STRATEGY:

The pull is by far one of the most important parts of this encounter. Please review the map below for proper placement. It is critical that MT's and OT's are healed through the pull, especially the MT on Maulgar.

Once the boss and adds are correctly placed, we begin to kill each add one at a time. Adds should be killed in the following order:
Blindeye the Seer (Priest), Olm the Summoner (Warlock), Krosh Firehand (Mage), Kiggler the Crazed (Shaman)

Killing Blindeye the Seer (Priest)
Please review the abilities above if you have not already.
This is just a DPS zerg fest with a slight twist.
He will throw up a shield that must be damaged down before he casts his heal.
Failure to do so will result in him healing back to full.
Save your cooldowns for the shield, when it is popped, burn it down.
As soon as the shield is destroyed interupt the healing cast.
Do not try to interupt the heal while the shield is up, else you will lose the ability for when it's needed.

Killing Olm the Summoner (Warlock)
Please review the abilities above if you have not already.

Killing Krosh Firehand (Mage)
Please review the abilities above if you have not already.

Killing Kiggler the Crazed (Shaman)
Please review the abilities above if you have not already.

Now that the adds are down, it's time to kill the king!

Killing High King Maulgar
Please review the abilities above if you have not already.

Put Your Gold In Safe Keeping

If you tend to spend just as much gold as you make em like me, then this addon is a great way to keep your spending in check. Here is a brief description of it:

DepositBox is an addon that lets you store money in a safe place where you can save up cash without being able to accidentally spend it. You can deposit and withdraw your saved gold using the friendly user interface, just type in the amount you want and press the store or retrieve button.

While money is saved in the DepositBox, it will not show up in your bag or on merchant windows. This means that you can't accidentally spend money that you've stored away.

This gives a nice way to save up for important purchases like your epic mount!

Features include:
Direct Deposit
Bag Threshold
Storage Target
Minimap Button
Money Display
Accountant Compatibility Mode
TitanPanel Enabled
myAddOns Enabled

Blacksmithing 300 - 375 Powerleveling

300 - 315
Imperial Plate Boots (18 x Thorium Bar) x 15

315 - 320
Imperial Plate Chest (20 x Thorium Bar) x 5

Alternatively you could do the following as suggested by Peavy on EU-Al'Akir:

300 - 320
Enchanted Thorium Blades (2 x Enchanted Thorium Bars, 6 x Thorium Bars, 1 x Rugged Leather) x 20
This really depends on how easy and/or cheap it is to get Enchanted Thorium Bars on your server.

320 - 325
Fel Iron Chain Tunic (9 x Fel Iron Bar) x 5

325 - 330
Lesser Rune of Warding (1 x Adamantite Bar) x 10

330 - 340
Adamantite Cleaver (8 x Adamantite Bar) x 10
N.B. This is a limited supply recipe sold by either of the following:
Aaron Hollman - Shattrath City
Arras - The Exodar
Eriden - Silvermoon City

340 - 350
Lesser Rune of Shielding (1 x Adamantite Bar) x 20
N.B. This is a limited supply recipe sold by either of the following:
Mari Stonehand - Wildhammer Stronghold (Shadowmoon Valley)
Rohok - Thrallmar (Hellfire Peninsula)

350 - 360
Adamantite Weightstone (1 x Adamantite Bar, 2 x Netherweave Cloth) x 20
Requires Honoured rep with cenarion Expedition, which is fairly easy to get.

From 360 onwards it gets tough to get recipes that will skill you up, as trainers won't teach you anything worthwhile. Everything that will skill you up past 360, is either a random drop pattern or a rep reward. The two best and cheapest ways are to get Scryers or Aldors rep.

Aldor's Rep Path

360 - 370
Flamebane Gloves (8 x Fel Iron Bars, 4 x Primal Water, 4 x Primal fire) x 10
Requires Aldor honoured rep to buy pattern and it's BoP

370 - 375
Flamebane Breastplate (16 x Fel Iron Bars, 6 x Primal Water, 4 x Primal Fire) x 5
Requires Aldor revered rep to buy pattern and it's BoP

Scryer's Rep Path

360 - 370
Enchanted Adamantite Boots (3 x Hardened Adamantite Bars, 12 x Arcane Dust, 2 x Large Prismatic Shards) x 10
Requires Scryer honoured rep to buy pattern and it's BoP

370 - 375
Enchanted Adamantite Breastplate (4 x Hardened Adamantite Bars, 20 x Arcane Dust, 4 x Large Prismatic Shards) x 5
Requires Scryer revered rep to buy pattern and it's BoP

Alternatively, you could keep running Auchenai Crypts for the Felsteel Gloves plans as follows:

361 - 375
Felsteel Gloves (6 x Felsteel Bars) x 15

Approximate Materials Required

Aldor's Rep Path

370 X Thorium Bars (or 120 if you made Blades)
199 x Fel Iron Bar
130 x Adamantite Bar
40 x Netherweave Cloth
70 x Primal Water
60 x Primal Fire

If you made Enchanted Thorium Blades instead Imperial Plate Chest, add the following:
40 x Enchanted Thorium Bars
20 x Rugged Leather

Scryer's Rep Path

370 X Thorium Bars (or 120 if you made Blades)
39 x Fel Iron Bar
130 x Adamantite Bar
40 x Netherweave Cloth
50 x Hardened Adamantite Bars (That's 600 x Adamantite Bars)
220 x Arcane Dust
40 x Large Prismatic Shards

If you made Enchanted Thorium Blades instead Imperial Plate Chest, add the following:
40 x Enchanted Thorium Bars
20 x Rugged Leather

Easy Guide For Epic and Rare Items

To some people this is common sense but to some who are unaware, this is a super extremely easy way to obtain rare, epic items and mount. Here is how to do it in some simple steps.

1. Go to Nagrand and to Haala
Note: do this late or early when nobody is there

2. Hopefully you have a 60+ friend ally or horde

3. Get on your 60+ go right outside of Nagrand

4. If you horde have you ally friend there if your ally have your horde friend there

5. Start killing him (Strip his gear before the fight for an easier kill and less repair bill)

6. Do this 30 times you get blue items.

Do it more and the items just gets better! And at 300, there is a free Tabluck mount or whatever it is called!

Honestly, I did this and managed to decked out my pally and my druid. It is easy to get 30 Haala marks just keep stacking them.

You will also need the 'research tokens' too, you can get them from turning in 20 Oshu'gun crystal powder sample if I'm not mistaken. They drop from mobs all around Nagrand and they tend to drop a little more frequent on those ghost dudes around Oshu'gun.

Downside of this is that you get the marks and you don't control Haala you need a raid or a lot of free time.

Make 1000g+ a day with Jewelcrafting

Adamantite Ore go for an average of 20-30g a stack on my server.

If your a Miner with main or on an alt even better cause more profits for you! But I'm lazy to run around Outlands for veins and I have the gold to buy ore with.

4 chances for a rare gem in each stack. If you even just get 1 rare in chances that stack is already paid for. Rare gems go from 30-50g each on my server Nightseye being the most usually. I've paid 23g for a stack of ores and got 3 rares worth a total of 140g in that one stack. 110g Profit right there. But gotta think there are times all you do get is the dust and nothing else.

Only problem with this guide is the supplies of Adamantite Ore on AH.

But, I spend many 1 hour of my time buying and prospecting Adamantite Ore a day. Usually I save all my gems till I get 10+ of each and send in trade chat Selling in bulk!! Usually you can get a little more then AH prices if you have bulk of the gems.

Prospecting can be trained at Jewelrycraft skill level 20. 5 ores of each WHITE LETTER ore (meaning no silver, gold, etc), can be trained as follows:

Adamantite Ore - 325 Skill
Fel Iron Ore - 275 Skill
Thorium Ore - 250 Skill
Mithril Ore - 175 Skill
Iron Ore - 125 Skill
Tin Ore - 50 Skill
Copper Ore - 1 Skill

Another thing is... each stack will give you 1 Adamantite Dust (4.5g) to the vendor. And usually 1-2 uncommon gems 20g a stack to vendor also.

If you have time and gold to check ah and prospect you can easily make 1000g+ a day doing this and selling the rares.

IMO Don't cut and sell the gems cause you will have to pay deposit fees and you compete with others on the AH. If you put up say a Runed Living Ruby for 55g. Next min someone puts it up for 50g your screwed till that one sells. Waste of time and Deposit fee.

When BC first came out I use to sell cut uncommons for 5-10g each and made 3000g in 2 weeks. Now the cutting business is sorta unstable. Selling of uncut rare gems will always be needed.

Doing Chess Event in Fresh Instance Solo

Found this cool way to get to the Chess Event (which can be easily soloed) using a fresh instance. Do take note that stealth and wall jumping skills are required for this to work so this pretty much takes out Warriors and all other non discreet classes.

Here is a more text detailed explanation:

Once you have the walljump thing mastered its easy peasy...

You just need to pass 3 mobs, the prince (do it correctly and you wont pull him), a fleshbeast standing still (last mob before prince) and then at the place where he does the second walljump.

It takes like 15-20 mins, even faster if you are really good and I've tried to solo this and it works like a charm...

Now as for the chess event itself:

1. control the king, needed to start the event
2. release king and control conjurer
3. use the conjurers ranged attack to get down the other kings hp
4. the conjurer dies by ranged fire attacks, you will release
5. by this time the other king is around 50%.. he will be healed.
6.The horde king is in front of the alliance king, with one alliance peon defending it.
7. control king, wait till peon dies, kill king
8. loot
